AVIxD Membership Levels and Benefits

Joining AVIxD requires a paid subscription through this website.   Membership entitles you to access to AVIxD resources for the current calendar year.  AVIxD recognizes four types of memberships as described below.  For anything above Basic membership, after filling out the registration form you will be asked to submit a payment using a credit card or your PayPal account for your registration.   You can find the registration link on the right when you’re ready to signup.

Basic: Free

To become a Basic member, join our LinkedIn group at <https://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=856887&trk=anet_ug_hm>.   This is a non-voting membership. Benefits:
  • Receive AVIxD communications throughout the year via LinkedIn
  • Eligible to participate in the annual AVIxD Workshop and some other special events (some events might be free, others just discounted)

Student: $25 yearly

Students are enrolled full-time in college and university programs. Benefits:
  • Access to publications
  • Eligible to participate in the annual AVIxD Workshop and some other special events (some events might be free, others just discounted)
  • Access to the Jobs board (our way of helping you become a Professional member!)

Professional: $55 yearly

Professionals are any person practicing or interested in the practices of voice interaction design and related activities.
Benefits:
  • Voting rights for AVIxD elections and other events as described in the by-laws
  • Access to AVIxD publications, including future subscription items
  • Eligible for consideration for participation in the annual AVIxD Workshop
  • Other special events as determined by the board (Some events might be free, others just discounted)
  • Annual job and salary survey
  • Member directory profile posting, including contact, expertise, and services details (all optional)
  • Access to the AVIxD jobs board
  • Suggest and contribute white papers and articles

Corporate: $500 yearly

Corporate sponsors of AVIxD
Benefits:
  • All Professional benefits, except voting, which is done on an individual basis, plus,
  • Up to 7 Professional memberships at no extra charge
  • Prominent display of logo on a ‘Corporate Sponsors’ page
  • Unlimited jobs postings for Corporate Sponsors (normally $75 per posting)
  • Highlighted “exclusive” jobs listings
  • Sponsor listing at AVIxD Workshops and other events
