The names of the months are:

If you want to say March 5th, 2013 in Spanish, you would say: “Cinco de Marzo de dos mil trece.” As you can see, you first say the day, then the month, and finally the year. Notice that the word “de” is placed as delimiter (“de” means “of”).

NOTE: It is also common that people use the ordinal 1st to make reference to the first date of the month. Both ways are acceptable. However, for the IVR, you may like to record dates with a non-ordinal pattern in order to follow the same pattern than the other numbers. No other ordinal number is ever used for dates in Spanish.
